Cundari Wins Major Digital Assignments from International Clients
August 24, 2016
TORONTO, August 23, 2016 – It’s been a very busy summer for Cundari, as the agency has landed a number of high-profile digital assignments for international clients including Midea, a global manufacturer with headquarters in China, and Absorption Pharmaceuticals, makers of Promescent, a sexual wellness product with international distribution. Cundari is also working on a website rebuild for the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
Cundari is building a new consumer-facing website for Midea, a Fortune 500 company with 100,000 employees in China and throughout the world. The new website will be built on an enterprise-level CMS for their U.S. division, and will be the foundation for their global corporate site, as well as all other divisions. This is the first time Midea has launched a consumer-facing digital property. Cundari’s digital and strategy team members led workshops in Guangzhou, China, with Midea stakeholders as the first step in the digital discovery process. A full roll-out of the website will take place in December. Along with this web work, Cundari has also worked with Midea on brand development.
Cundari has also begun the development of an e-commerce website for Promescent that will communicate product benefits and create a seamless purchase journey for customers from around the globe. Cundari has built a number of e-commerce websites for clients with global reach, and will apply its knowledge of both the consumer journey and digital best practices to this build.
The Metro Toronto Convention Centre selected Cundari to rebuild its website, which targets visitors and event planners across North America and beyond. The project is a complete redesign and rebuild of their current site.
These new wins have signalled the need to grow and evolve Cundari’s digital team and as a result two key people have taken on leadership roles. Domenic Garaci was promoted to VP, Technology and Interactive Solutions, and will oversee Cundari’s digital department, while Patrick Lee becomes VP, Software Development, Client Delivery, and will oversee the front- and back-end teams.
“The fact that global clients are selecting Cundari for their major digital projects demonstrates the strength of our team and our overall digital capabilities,” said Domenic Garaci, VP, Technology and Interactive Solutions, at Cundari. “We see these assignments as more than technology projects; we view them as immersive digital brand experiences, so every aspect is created with the consumer journey in mind, and clients see the value of our expertise.”
