YES WE CANNES!

June 1, 2012

(TORONTO) – Cundari, a leading independent Canadian ideas agency, recently took home two Gold Lions
at the 2012 Cannes Lion International Festival of Creativity in Cannes, France. Both awards were in the mobile category, won for the agency’s work on the Pain Squad App for The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). Shortlisted four times, the app won in the mobile application: charities, not-for-profit and public information category; and in the craft, best user experience category.

The Lions come hot on the heels of several recent honours for Cundari. The agency took home three gold M’s at the 90th Marketing Magazine awards: Best in Show and Digital Gold for Pain Squad, and a Gold for the BMW 1M Campaign. The app also garnered Cundari a Gold Clio, and the BMW 1M Campaign took two Bronze Clios in the sound design and digital categories.

“We are delighted and honoured that Cundari has been distinguished with these renowned awards,” says Aldo Cundari, Chairman & CEO, Cundari Group Ltd. “The entire agency strives to provide creative solutions to our clients’ marketing needs. I believe these awards are a testament to our efforts in using creativity to solve real world problems.”
