To promote SUBWAY® Restaurants sponsorship of the Ottawa Senators, we didn’t feature NHL superstars and fancy arenas – we embraced the competitive and passionate spirit of the game. We developed humorous TV spots that had SUBWAY Restaurants employees living the hockey lifestyle and POS advertisements to promote exclusive value meals. We even took our sponsorship to centre ice and encouraged healthy competition by having fans race to complete their sandwich the fastest, with thousands of other fans cheering them on.
