SickKids needed a better way for young cancer patients to report daily pain levels. Leveraging kids' love of playful apps, the Pain Squad app gave them control over their pain management while providing doctors with valuable data. With an 81% compliance rate (compared to 11% for paper journals), the app has seen unprecedented success. Now available in app stores and used in other Canadian hospitals, it's also received international recognition and Cundari’s first-ever Cannes Gold Lion for its innovative approach.
